Their latest piece, Takapau, draws inspiration from the traditional Māori practice of finely weaving mats, often utilized in ceremonial contexts, particularly surrounding childbirth. In Māori cosmology, the womb holds profound significance as a sacred space where the divine and mortal realms converge.
